Durch einen hinter dem Sägetrum (3) in Laufrichtung des Sägebands (2) in einem Abstand hinter der durch das Antriebsrad (5) verursachten beginnenden Krümmung (8) des Sägebandes (2) in tangential zur Krümmung (8) verlaufender Richtung im Gehäuse (7) angebrachten schwanenhalsförmigen Abflusskanal (9) werden mit dem Sägeband (2) in das Gehäuse (7) eindringende Verunreinigungen aufgrund ihrer Eigendynamik wieder aus dem Gehäuse hinausgeschleudert.
