In einen 100-ml-Erlenmeyerkolben werden etwa 20 ml Borsaeureloesung gegeben ; der Kolben wird unter dem Kondensator des Kjeldahl-Destilliergeraets so aufgestellt , dass das Ablaufrohr gerade unter den Spiegel der Borsaeureloesung eintaucht . Es werden genau 10 ml Analysenloesung in den Destillierkolben ueberfuehrt und mindestens 5 ml Natriumhydroxydloesung in den Trichter gegeben . Man hebt den Stopfen leicht an und laesst die Natriumhydroxydloesung langsam in den Kolben fliessen . Wenn die Analysenloesung und die Natriumhydroxydloesung bestrebt sind , zwei getrennte Schichten zu bilden , so sind sie durch vorsichtiges Schuetteln zu vermischen . Der Destillierkolben wird leicht erwaermt und gleichzeitig Dampf aus dem Dampferzeuger in ihn eingefuehrt . Es werden etwa 20 ml Destillat gesammelt und das Auffanggefaess so weit gesenkt , dass sich das Ende des Ablaufrohrs etwa 20 mm ueber dem Spiegel der Fluessigkeit befindet , danach wird eine Minute lang weiter destilliert . Das Ende des Ablaufrohrs wird mit Wasser ausgespuelt und das Reinigungswasser im Erlenmeyer aufgefangen . Der Erlenmeyer wird sodann entfernt und durch einen zweiten Erlenmeyer ersetzt , der etwa 10 ml Borsaeureloesung enthaelt ; darin werden etwa 10 ml Destillat aufgesammelt .

Place about 20 ml of boric acid solution in a 100 ml conical flask and place the flask under the condenser of the Kjeldahl distillation apparatus so that the delivery tube dips just below the surface of the boric acid solution . Transfer exactly 10 ml of digest solution to the distillation flask , add not less than 5 ml of sodium hydroxide solution to the funnel , lift the stopper slightly and allow the sodium hydroxide solution to run slowly into the flask . If the digest solution and sodium hydroxide solution remain as two separate layers , mix them by gentle agitation . Heat the distillation flask gently and pass it into steam from the generator . Collect about 20 ml of distillate , lower the conical flask so that the tip of the delivery tube of the condenser is about 20 mm above the surface of the liquid and distil for 1 minute more . Rinse the tip of the delivery tube with water , catching the washings in the conical flask . Remove the conical flask and replace it with another conical flask containing roughly 10 ml of boric acid solution and collect about 10 ml distillate .

Ein Auffangkolben mit 25 bis 30 ml Borsäurelösung (3.18) wird so unter den Ablauf des Kühlers gestellt, dass sich das Ablaufrohr unter der Oberfläche der überschüssigen Borsäurelösung befindet.

Für die Druckberechnung hinter der Turbine gibt es prinzipiell die Möglichkeit, die Bernoulligleichung vom Zulaufgewässer durch die Turbine zu verfolgen. Dazu muss allerdings das Energieliniengefälle durch die Turbine genau bekannt sein. Die andere Möglichkeit besteht darin, die Bernoulligleichung vom Unterstrom zum Auslauf der Turbine auszuwerten. Dazu muss lediglich der Strömungsverlust im Ablaufrohr bekannt sein.

For the calculation of pressure behind the turbine, there is in principle the possibility to follow the Bernoulli equation to the feed water through the turbine. Used only if the energy slope of the turbine must be precisely known. The other possibility consists of the Bernoulli equation to the outlet from the lower stream of the turbine evaluated. This requires only that the pressure drop in the drain pipe must be known.
