Brennstoffbaugruppe mit einem Brennstoffstab, der in einem Brennstoffplattierrohr mit Brennstoffpellet vorgesehen ist, einem Kanalgehäuse, das eine Mehrzahl von Stücken der Brennstoffstäbe aufnimmt, einem Abstandsstück zum Unterteilen der im Kanalgehäuse aufgenommenen Brennstoffstäbe und oberen und unteren Auflageplatten, die am oberen bzw. am unteren Teil des Kanalgehäuses angeordnet sind, wobei das Kanalgehäuse aus einem Zirkoniumbasislegierungsbauteil nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3 gebildet ist oder ein Kanalgehäuse nach Anspruch 8 oder 9 ist.
