Was aber ist dann mit Mozarts Modifikationen von "Andante", wie "con moto", "sostenuto", "moderato", "maestoso", "un poco adagio", "cantabile", "di molto", "più tosto Allegretto" - warumschrieb er sienicht auch hier? Des Rätsels Lösung scheint mir zu sein, dass es sich beim Andante 6/8 des "Ach, ich fühl’s" und dem des "Pace, pace" um zwei gleich aussehende, aber völlig verschiedene Taktarten handelt: einen aus zwei 3/8-Takten zusammengesetzten 6/8 (Pamina-Arie, Klaviertrio in G, g-moll-Sinfonie) und einen "einfachen", aus dem triolisierten 2/4-Takt entstandenen 6/8 ("Pace, pace").

What about Mozart’s modifications for Andante, such as con moto, sostenuto, moderato, maestoso, un poco adagio, cantabile, di molto and più tosto Allegretto – why did he not use them here? In my opinion, the solution of the riddle is that the Andante 6/8 in "Ach, ich fühl’s" and "Pace, pace" are written in two seemingly identical but totally different meters: one compound 6/8 meter, composed of two 3/8 measures put together (Pamina aria; Piano trio K. 496) and one simple 6/8 which is basically no more than a 2/4 meter with eighth note triplets ("Pace, pace").
