2.1.1 . Die absolute Temperatur Ta der Ansaugluft am Motoreinlass und der trockene atmosphaerische Druck ps ( in kPa ) sind zu messen , und die Kennzahl F ist nach folgender Formel zu berechnen :

2.1.1 . The absolute temperature ( Ta ) of the engine air at the inlet to the engine expressed in Kelvin , and the dry atmospheric pressure ( ps ) , expressed in kPa shall be measured and the parameter F shall be determined according to the following provisions :

Die absolute Temperatur Ta der Ansaugluft am Motoreinlass (in K) und der trockene atmosphärische Druck ps (in kPa) sind zu messen, und die Kennzahl fa ist nach den nachstehenden Formeln zu berechnen.

The absolute temperature (Ta) of the intake air at the inlet to the engine expressed in Kelvin, and the dry atmospheric pressure (ps), expressed in kPa shall be measured and the parameter fa shall be determined according to the following provisions.

3.3.4.4. sonstige Bauteile oder Teilsysteme des Emissionsminderungssystems oder an einen Rechner angeschlossene emissionsrelevante Bauteile oder Teilsysteme des Antriebsstrangs , deren Ausfall bzw. Fehlfunktion dazu fuehren koennte , dass die Abgasemissionen die in Abschnitt 3.3.2 genannten Grenzwerte ueberschreiten ; Beispiele fuer solche Systeme oder Bauteile sind die Einrichtungen zur Ueberwachung und Regelung des Massen- und Volumendurchsatzes ( und der Temperatur ) der Ansaugluft , des Aufladungsdrucks und des Drucks im Einlasskruemmer ( und die entsprechenden Messsonden , die die Ausfuehrung dieser Funktionen ermoeglichen ) ;

3.3.4.4 . Other emission control system components or systems , or emission-related powertrain components or systems , which are connected to a computer , the failure of which may result in tailpipe emissions exceeding the limits given in 3.3.2 . Examples of such systems or components are those for monitoring and control of air mass-flow , air volumetric flow ( and temperature ) , boost pressure and inlet manifold pressure ( and relevant sensors to enable these functions to be carried out ) .
