Der Grundgedanke der Erfindung besteht darin, im Gegensatz zu der bekannten Zielstellung der maximalen Reduktion der Rotationsschwingungen in allen Betriebssituationen, die zwangsläufig zu aufwändigen Lösungen führt, die schwingungsreduzierenden Maßnahmen einerseits nur auf Resonanzdrehzahlbereiche, in denen tatsächlich druckqualitätsbeeinträchtigende und verschleißfördernde Schwingungsüberhöhungen auftreten, zu beschränken, andererseits aber die Einhaltung einer vorgegebenen Druckqualität (maximal zulässige Passertoleranzen) an allen Druck- und/oder Lackwerken der Druckmaschine (z.B. an den Bogenübergabestellen zwischen den Druck- oder Lackwerken einer Bogendruckmaschine) mit vorhandenen Mitteln zu gewährleisten. Dies wird erfindungsgemäß durch Überlagerung des Antriebsmomentes des Hauptantriebsmotors mit innerhalb der Antriebsregelung gespeicherten, den Resonanzschwingungen entgegenwirkenden, drehzahlabhängigen Gegenmomenten in den Resonanzdrehzahlbereichen erreicht.
