Die WL BANK gründete sich im Jahre 1877. Es wurde als Pfandbriefinstitut unter dem Namen „Westfälische Landschaft“ von westfälischen Landwirten aus dem damaligen Bauernverband gegründet.

WL BANK was founded in 1877. It was as a mortgage institution under the name of "Westphalian landscape" founded by Westphalian farmers from the former farm community.

Also haben wir uns schon sehr früh bemüht, einen starken Bauernverband zu bilden, so daß man ein derartiges Bewässerungssystem gemeinsam nutzen könnte.

So we started very early to try to form a strong farmers' association so that they could share this kind of watering system.
