In einem Feldversuch wurde ermittelt, welche Wirkung ausgesuchte Kräuterarten auf Nützlinge und Schädlinge haben. In einem in vitro-Versuch wurde die Wirkung von Kräutern auf Blattläuse unabhängig von Umweltbedingungen getestet. Weiter wurden zwei auf Schädlinge anfällige Kräuter (Ocimum basilicum 'Bubikopf' und Anthriscus cerefolium var. Cerefolium) mit den Mikroorganismen Trichoderma harzianum, Pseudomonas fluorescens und LB WW-GD beimpft und die Phenolkonzentration in den Blättern als auch die Spross- und Wurzelmasse der Pflanzen nach mehreren Tagen Inkubation ermittelt.
