Crescendo

Das wurde die elektronische Orgel. Er hatte Unterricht von Graad Coumans und er erworb 6 Grade. Im Alter von 16 wählte er ein Instrument das besser zum Zeitgeist passte: die Gitarre. Er hatte Unterricht von u.a. Piet Berix und er erworb 3 Grade. Peter spielte ein Jahr bei Zupforchester Edelweiss aus Meers und danach bei Zupforchester Crescendo aus Beek. Noch nicht so lange her hat er eine halb-akustische Bassgitarre gekauft und spielt er hierauf einige Nummern.

This was the electronic organ. He took lessons from Graad Coumans and obtained 6 degrees. At the age of 16 he choose an instrument that was more suitable to the spirit of times: the guitar. He had lessons from Piet Berix among others and took 3 degrees. Peter played with mandolin orchestra Edelweiss from Meers and then with mandolin orchestra Crescendo from Beek. Not long ago he bought a semi-acoustic bass guitar and plays a couple of numbers on it.

Obschon Yang eine Dzogchen Praxis ist und deshalb dessen Singen in Gruppen nicht traditionell ist, stellte sich heraus, dass die Gruppenpraxis hilfreich ist als eine Einführung in Yang im Hinblick auf die Entwicklung der Fähigkeit, Yang richtig auszuüben. Dafür sollte man – um in der Praxis des Yang fortzuschreiten – dem Umdzé (Gesangsleiter) genau folgen, um das Gewahrsein von Tonlage, Timbre, Rhythmus, Phrasierung, Crescendo und Diminuendo zu halten.

Although yang is a Dzogchen practice and therefore group singing is not traditional – group practice has been found to be helpful as an introduction to yang in terms of developing the ability to perform yang correctly.In order to progress in one’s practice of yang, therefore – one should follow the umdzé (chant leader) closely in order to maintain awareness of pitch, timbre, rhythm, phrasing, crescendo, and diminuendo.
