Kommentare wie "Auf EBM kann man nicht Tanzen", "EBM=Schlafsaalmucke", "Entweder, du machst den Krach aus oder wir gehen und sorgen dafür, das keiner mehr zu deiner Party kommt" (menn der DJ z.B. Rythm n Noise spielt) komen leider oft genug vor.

On the other hand, there is in parts of the younger fans such intolerance towards the "old" styles that a division seems almost inevitable. Comments such as "On EBM you can not dance", "EBM = dormitory Mucke," "Either you make of the noise, or we go and see to it that no one comes to your party" (menn the DJ as Rhythm n Noise plays) komen unfortunately often enough.
