(Halb)leitendes Copolymer aus alternierenden Donator- und Akzeptormonomereinheiten, wobei das genannte Copolymer ein polykonjugiertes Bildungssystem aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das (helb)leitende Copolymer durch Reaktion einer Akzeptormonomereinheit A mit einer Donatormonomereinheit D erhalten werden kann, wobei im Beisein eines Lösungsmittels eine Polykondensation stattfindet unter Bildung des genannten alternierenden (halb)leitenden Copolymers, wobei die genannte Akzeptormonomereinheit A aus der Gruppe selektiert wird, bestehend aus Quadratsäure, Krokonsäure und 5,6-Dihydroxy-5-Cyclohexen-1,2,3,4-Tetraon, und wobei die genannte Donatormonomereinheit D selektiert wird aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus wobei: X = -NR- und X = O, S, Se, -NR-, -CR=CH-, -CHR-CH - oder -C(Alkyl) -, wobei die Alkylgruppe 1-18 C-Atome aufweist und X = -CR= oder -N=, wobei R ein H-Atom oder eine C -C Alkylgruppe ist; oder X = S oder O und X = S oder -CR=CH- und X = -CR= oder -N=, wobei R die obenstehende Bedeutung hat, wobei R und R eine C -C Alkylgruppe darstellen; wobei R und R eine C -C Alkylgruppe darstellen; wobei R und R ein H-Atom oder eine C -C Alkylgruppe darstellen und AT ein aromatischer Kern ist, selektiert aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus wobei R und R ein H-Atom oder eine C -C Alkylgruppe darstellen und X = -N= oder -CR=, wobei R ein H-Atom oder eine C -C Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppe darstellt, und X* = S, O, Se, -NH- oder -N (Alkyl)-, wobei die Alkylgruppe 1-18 C-Atome enthält; Bithienyl; wobei R eine C -C Alkylgruppe oder eine C -C Alkoxygruppe darstellt oder Wasserstoff; und Azulen, ggf. substituiert durch eine Alkylgruppe mit Ausnahme des Copolymers, das aus Quadratsäure und p-Phenylendiamin erhalten werden kann.
