Oft sind sie nicht mit den konkreten Möglichkeiten zur Beteiligung am Ehrenamt vertraut und kennen die Bildungsangebote nicht.

Mit der BGZ, die die nationale und transnationale Kooperation koordiniert, arbeiten 9 Einrichtungen aus 4 Ländern zusammen. Alle Partner haben einen besonderen Zugang zu Migranten und deren Interessenvertretungen und verfügen über umfassende Kompetenzen im Bereich Ehrenamt.

Um Nachhaltigkeit und Mainstreaming zu sichern, sind Organisationen mit politischem Einfluss einbezogen. Bei der Auswahl der Partner war auch ihre Motivation ausschlaggebend, die Beteiligung von Migranten an alternativen Bildungsangeboten zu fördern und Lernort Ehrenamt zu erschließen.

Personalities from politics, culture, sports are sponsors of the project. They give practical support to advertise for PROTECT, are ambassadors of the project idea and even a model for community involvement in volunteering.
