Lautsprecher, insbesondere Mitteltonlautsprecher (10), mit einem Magnetsystem (13), mit einem in etwa konusförmig ausgebildeten Lautsprecherkorb (14), dessen eines Ende mit dem Magnetsystem (13) verbunden ist, dessen anderes Ende einen umlaufenden Rand (17) aufweist, der zur Befestigung des Lautsprechers in der Öffnung (11) der Einbauwand (12) dient, und dessen Mantelfläche (22) durchbruchs- und öffnungsfrei ausgebildet ist, und mit einer Membran (15), die in den Lautsprecherkorb (14) eingesetzt ist, wobei das eine Ende der Membran (15) mittels einer Sicke (16) mit dem Rand (17) des Lautsprecherkorbes (14) verbunden ist und das andere Ende der Membran (15) mit der dort angeordneten Schwingspule (19) in den Luftspalt (20) eintaucht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der umlaufende Rand (17) über Strömungskanäle (24) verfügt, die den zwischen dem Lautsprecherkorb (14) und der Membran (15) bestehenden Raum (25) mit dem Raum (26) verbindet, in welchen hinein der Schalldruck des Lautsprechers (10) abgestrahlt werden soll.
