Er schlug alle Erstgeburt in Ägypten, alle Erstlinge ihrer Kraft.

He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

und die Erstlinge deines Korns, deines Mostes und deines Öls und die Erstlinge von der Schur deiner Schafe.

The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him.

Denn die Erstlinge der Dürftigen werden weiden, und die Armen sicher ruhen; aber deine Wurzel will ich mit Hunger töten, und deine Übriggebliebenen wird er erwürgen.

And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.

und für die Opfergaben an Holz zu bestimmten Zeiten und für die Erstlinge. Gedenke meiner, mein Gott, im Besten!

And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.

Und das Fest der Ernte, der Erstlinge deiner Früchte, die du auf dem Felde gesät hast. Und das Fest der Einsammlung im Ausgang des Jahres, wenn du deine Arbeit eingesammelt hast vom Felde.

And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

Nicht allein aber sie, sondern auch wir selbst, die wir haben des Geistes Erstlinge, sehnen uns auch bei uns selbst nach der Kindschaft und warten auf unsers Leibes Erlösung.
