Im Interesse eines ausgewogenen Verhältnisses zwischen Gliederung und Text ist darauf zu achten, daß der Text einerseits nicht durch die Verwendung zu vieler Gliederungspunkte zersplittert wird. Im Sinne der Übersichtlichkeit sollte der Text aber andererseits auch in ausreichendem Maße untergliedert werden. Als sinnvolle Faustregel hat sich ein Umfang von im Durchschnitt ca. 1/2 – 2 Seiten pro Gliederungspunkt als sinnvoll erwiesen.

Der Test sollte so angelegt werden , dass er ausreichende Sensitivitaet hat . Die Anzahl der Zellen , die verwendeten Kulturen und Konzentrationen der Pruefsubstanz sollten den vorgegebenen Parametern entsprechen ( 14 ) . Die Mindestzahl der lebensfaehigen Zellen , die die Behandlung ueberstehen und im jeweiligen Stadium der Pruefung verwendet werden , sollte auf der Spontanmutationshaeufigkeit beruhen . Als allgemeine Faustregel gilt die Verwendung einer Anzahl von Zellen , die mindestens dem Zehnfachen des reziproken Wertes der Spontanmutationshaeufigkeit entspricht . Es wird aber empfohlen , mindestens 106 Zellen zu verwenden . Es sollten angemessene historische Daten zum verwendeten Zellsystem vorhanden sein , um die durchgaengige Aussagefaehigkeit des Tests zu belegen .
