Filmprojektor zum abwechselnden Projizieren von Bildern von jeweiligen Serien von entsprechenden "linksäugigen" und "rechtsäugigen" Bildern, was in einer 3-D-Projektion resultiert, wobei die Vorrichtung eine Lichtquelle und eine Projektionslinsenanordnung (32) einschließt; wobei die Vorrichtung wenigstens einen Rollschleifen-Filmtransportmechanismus umfaßt, welcher einen Stator (24) mit einer Apertur (26) und einen Rotor (22) einschließt, der mit dem Stator zusammenarbeitet, um eine Filmpassage zu definieren und Spalte zum Aufnehmen von Filmschleifen aufweist; wenigstens einen Primärverschluß (36), der mit dem Rotor gekoppelt ist und den Spalt überbrückt, um Licht von der Quelle, das durch die Apertur projiziert wird, wenn sich der Rotor dreht, zu unterbrechen, gekennzeichnet durch Hilfsverschlußeinrichtungen (40, 40'; 50; 56, 62, 66), die angepaßt sind, den Verschlußeffekt des Primärverschlusses zu modifizieren, so daß eine Lichtprojektion durch jedes Bild in einer der Serien beendet wird, bevor die Lichtprojektion durch das nächste folgende Bild der anderen Serie beginnt, wodurch diskrete "linksäugige" und rechtsäugige Bilder projiziert werden.

A motion picture projection apparatus for alternately projecting images from respective series of corresponding "left eye" and "right eye" images, resulting in a 3-D projection, the apparatus including a light source and a projection lens assembly (32); the apparatus comprising at least one rolling loop film transport mechanism which includes a stator (24) having an aperture (26) and a rotor (22) co-operating with the stator to define a film passage and having gaps for receiving film loops; at least one primary shutter (36) coupled to said rotor and bridging a said gap for interrupting light from said source projected through said aperture as the rotor rotates, characterised by supplementary shutter means (40,40'; 50;56;62;66) adapted to modify the shuttering effect of said primary shutter so that projection of light through each image in one said series is terminated before commencement of projection of light through the next succeeding image of the other series, whereby discrete "left eye" and "right eye" images are projected.

3-D-Filmprojektor (20) zum Projizieren von wechselnden Bildern aus entsprechenden Serien von Bildern für das linke Auge und Bildern für das rechte Auge auf jeweiligen Filmstreifen (38, 40), wobei der Projektor folgende Baugruppen umfaßt: erste und zweite, umlaufende Schleifentransportvorrichtungen (32, 34) für die jeweiligen Filmstreifen, wobei jede Vorrichtung eine Statorvorrichtung (48, 50; 48?, 50?) umfaßt, die eine Lochplatte (52, 52?) hat, einen Rotor (54, 54?), der mit der Statorvorrichtung zusammenwirkt, um einen Filmdurchlaß zu bilden, wobei der Rotor Lücken (G, G?) zum Aufnehmen von Filmschleifen hat und in bezug auf die Statorvorrichtung drehbar ist, Mittel (56, 58; 56?, 58?) zum Bewegen des betreffenden Filmstreifens durch den Durchlaß, Mittel (92, 92?) zum Anordnen des Filmstreifens ausgerichtet mit dem Loch der Lochplatte und eine Filmverzögerungsvorrichtung mit einer Nockeneinheit (60, 62), die ein Teil (90, 90?) zum lösbaren Angreifen an den Film hat, um den Filmstreifen zum Eingriff mit den Filmausrichtmitteln zu verzögern, wobei die Nockeneinheit eine vertikale Drehachse (80, 120) hat und wobei die erste und zweite umlaufende Schleifentransportvorrichtung vertikal über den Rotoren liegen und um eine gemeinsame, vertikale Achse (X) verdrehbar sind, daß sie jedoch in einem Ausmaß (A, B) gegeneinander verdrehbar sind, das dazu ausreicht, eine abwechselnde Projektion von Bildern von den jeweiligen Filmstreifen zu ermöglichen; eine Vorrichtung (46) zum Projizieren von Licht durch jede der Öffnungen; und eine Projektionslinsenanordnung (70, 42, 44), die jeder dieser Öffnungen zugeordnet ist.

Die gute Faelis hat von mir einen Spezialauftrag bekommen: Da ich auch noch die Passion des Celluloid Films habe (16mm & Super 8mm) habe, kam mir die Idee eines Bildes mit meiner Fursona und einem Filmprojektor. Das original Bild, traditionell mit Aquarrelfarben gemalt, hat ungefähr Kinoplakatgröße und soll später im Wohnzimmer über meiner kleinen Filmprojektoren-Sammlung thronen. Anstelle des jetzt dort hängenden Filmplakats von Watership Down. Ein entsprechendes Foto wie das Bild an der Wand hängt , folgt noch. Das original bekomme ich in ein paar Tagen zugeschickt, und Faelis hat mir nun dieses Foto des Bildes geschickt. Faelis war von der Idee von Anfang an sehr angetan und hat sich extrem viel Mühe gemacht, wie ich finde. Ich finde es hervorragend!! Bravo Faelis. Meinen Respekt!!
