Das dümmste aber ist, dass er den Abstand von der Sonne bis an die hohle Fläche der Sphäre der Fixsterne angibt als 600.000 Erddurchmesser, weil er sagt, dass der Durchmesser der Sonne sich zur Bahn des Saturns so verhält (er nimmt dies Verhältnis als 1:2000 an), so wie die Bahn des Saturns zu den äußersten Fixsternen. Dies ist aber ganz ohne Grund. Es ist sehr verwunderlich, dass dieser hochgelehrte Mann und große Geist der Astronomie solche Dinge hat vorgeben können.
