In M300 wurde bei der Produktion der ersten Glyinfällung ein rot-brauner Belage auf der Behälteroberfläche zweier Behälter festgestellt. Dieser Belag wurde als Metalloxidationprodukte (hauptsächlich Eisenoxid) identifiziert. Der Belag war war abwischbar und konnte mit einer Salpetersäure/Flusssäure-Reinigung entfernt werden. Ursache hierfür war vermutlich Korrosion den zuführenden Rohrleitungen für die Kochsalzlösung. Diese Leitungen waren während des Shut Downs nicht durchflossen und es trat dort Korrosion auf. Bei Produktionsbeginn wurde mit der Bedämpfung dieser Korrosionsbelag in die Behälter transportiert. Ein Einfluss auf das Produkt ist derzeit nicht zu erkennen, wird aber noch näher in der entsprechenden Abweichung analysiert.
