Ihr Fazit: Es gibt eine ganze Reihe unter ihnen, die über Jahre spüren mussten, dass ihr Weg nach oben vor allem deshalb mühsam ist, weil sie nun einmal weiblich sind. Damit einher geht die zweite Motivation des Ausstiegs: eine höchst unbefriedigende Work-Life-Balance. Zu wenig positives Lebensgefühl und zu wenig inhaltliche Erfüllung angesichts der Anstrengung auf dem Weg nach oben. „No return on investment“, sagt Funken.
