Gezeitenwechsel

Es ist eine der vordringlichen Aufgaben für den Westen, daß es über den barbarischen Krieg im Kosovo nicht auch noch zu einem Gezeitenwechsel in unserem Verhältnis zu Rußland kommt, sondern daß wir unsere Partnerschaft weiter ausbauen.

One of the West's priority tasks is to ensure that the barbaric war in Kosovo does not also lead to any sort of reversal in our relations with Russia, but that we continue to build on our partnership.
