Hafenpolizei

Nach Auffassung der Kommission, der wir zustimmen, ist es, zumindest gegenwärtig, nicht möglich, eine einheitliche operationelle Stelle zu schaffen, eine Art Küstenwache oder europäischer Hafenpolizei, die die Aufgaben der nationalen Schifffahrtsbehörden übernimmt.

As the Commission maintains, and we fully support its opinion, it is not possible, at least at this stage, to set up a single operational structure, a type of coastguard or European port authority, to take over the role of the national maritime administrations.
