6. Jh. Der persiche Poet Ferdowsi rühmt in seinem um 1000 n.Chr. geschriebenen Werk "Shahnameh" ("Heldengedichte der Könige") Burzoe, eine weisen iranischen Arzt und Politiker dafür, Nard im 6. Jh.erfunden zu haben.

6th century According to the Persian poet Ferdowsi, Burzoe, a wise Iranian physician and politician, invented Nard in the 6th century. So he states in his book "Shahnameh" ("The Epic of Kings") written about 1000 AD.
