Das Hauptziel des EIT wird der Ausbau der Innovationsfähigkeit der Europäischen Union sein, indem es ein Bindeglied zwischen Hochschulwesen, Forschung und Vertretern der Industrie darstellt.

The primary objective of the EIT will be to develop the innovative capacity of the European Union by linking higher education, the research community and representatives of industry.

Es gab zahlreiche Reformen im Hochschulwesen im Land.

There have been many reforms in higher education of the country.

· mit der Aufnahmebestätigung einer Bildungsinstitution gemäß dem Gesetz über die öffentliche Bildung oder das nationale Hochschulwesen;

• with an admission certificate issued by an educational institution subject to the act on public education or the act on national higher education;

Wenn wir nicht nur die Ausgaben im tertiären Bildungssektor betrachten, sondern uns auch anschauen, in welchen Bereichen das Zusammenwirken von Wirtschaft und Hochschulwesen einen Mehrwert mit sich bringt, dann fällt auf, dass wir in Europa bei weitem nicht über dieselben Möglichkeiten verfügen, wie sie in anderen Teilen der Welt bestehen.

Looking not just at the spending of our tertiary education sector, but also where we are getting the value-added in the connection between business and university, we do not have anything like the same possibilities in Europe that they have in other parts of the world.

Dadurch werden Studenten sich einfacher mit den hohen Anforderungen des Unternehmertums vertraut machen können und auch das europäische Hochschulwesen wir weltweit als attraktiver angesehen werden.

This will help familiarise students with the rigorous requirements of entrepreneurship and will also make European higher education more attractive globally.

In diesem Sinne, Herr Präsident, wollen wir Tempus ausbauen und es zu Tempus Plus machen, das nicht mehr nur auf das Hochschulwesen konzentriert sein wird, sondern Hilfen entsprechend den Bedürfnissen und Kapazitäten jedes Landes vorsieht, die sich auf alle Bereiche der Bildungspolitik beziehen, d. h. auch die Schule und die Berufsbildung sind eingeschlossen.

To this end, Mr President, we want to develop Tempus and make it into Tempus Plus, which will no longer concentrate solely on the university level, but will also provide aid tailored to the needs and capacities of each country, aid for all areas of education policy, including schooling and vocational education and training.
