Jagdrecht

Der Steinmarder unterliegt dem Jagdrecht, d.h. es ist nur Personen mit spezieller Ausbildung (z.B. Jagdschein mit dem so genannten Fallensachkundenachweis) erlaubt, dieses Tier mit einer Kastenfalle zu fangen und dies auch nur von Mitte Oktober bis Ende Februar.

The stone marten is subject to hunting laws, i.e. only people with special training (e.g. a hunting permit with a special training in trapping) are allowed to catch these animals in a box trap, and then only from mid October to the end of February.

Der Habichtskauz steht in Österreich und in ganz Europa unter strengem Schutz. In Österreich ist er duch das Jagdrecht bzw. durch das Naturschutzrecht ganzjährig geschützt/geschont.

The Ural owl is placed under strict protection in Austria and throughout Europe. In Austria, it is protected all-year by shooting law and by the Nature Conservation Act, respectively.
