Klunkern

Gestalt Helmkasuare haben eine Rückenhöhe von etwa 90 cm, der Lauf ist 30 cm lang, die Gesamtlänge beträgt rund 1,50 m. Auffallend ist der knöcherne, klingenförmige »Helm« auf dem Kopf des schwarzen Vogels. Der nackte Hals sowie der Kopf sind blau und mit zwei roten, herabhängenden Hautlappen (»Klunkern«) verziert.

Shape Helmkasuare have a back-height of approximately 90 cm, the run is 30 cm long, the total-length amounts to approximately 1,50 m. The bone, sound-shaped "helmet" is conspicuous on the head of the black bird. The bare neck as well as the head are blue and decorate with two red, hanging skin-rags ("rocks").
