Und ich will Ihnen sagen: Ich glaube nicht an diese Sherpas, ich glaube nicht an die Beichtstühle, ich glaube nicht an all diese Mätzchen, denn am Ende muss in der Öffentlichkeit auch dargestellt werden, wo die Widersprüche zwischen den Einzelnen in Europa liegen.

Die albanische Bevölkerung hat solche Mätzchen satt. Sie will ernsthafte Politiker, die ernsthaft an der Lösung der Probleme interessiert sind.

Recent years have shown the futility of boycotts, and they would not be worth the effort now either; the Albanian people have had enough of that sort of stunt, and what they want is serious politicians with a serious interest in sorting problems out.

Goisern stellt parallele Welten nebeneinander und lässt Luft zwischen ihnen: Im vertrauen auf ihre Gemeinsamkeiten können die Traditionen für sich selbst sprechen und sich frei miteinander verbinden. Hubert von Goiserns Musik stellt keine neuen Dogmen auf, so bleibt sie nach allen Seiten frei und offen.

In the middle of the black, Hubert von Goisern meets there where he his expedition through world music combines with his own roots: African rhythms place themselves next to stoic speech song, possessed Irish violin sounds meet trumpet lines in which despair lives. Goisern puts parallel worlds next to one another and lets the air in between them: trusting in their common ground, the traditions can speak for themselves and freely combine with each other. Hubert von Goisern's music puts forward no new dogmas, so it remains free and open on all sides.
