Der Rat hatte erklärt, er wolle diese Stoffe für drei Zwecke beibehalten: erstens zur Einleitung der Brunft bei Rindern, dem hauptsächlichen Anwendungsbereich, zweitens zur Mazeration oder Mumifikation von Feten, auch vorwiegend bei Rindern, und drittens zur Behandlung von Pyometra bei Rindern.
