Anhand des Politikfelds Schein- bzw. Aufenthaltsehen werden jene staatlichen Akteure erforscht, die für die Entstehung der gesetzlichen Regelungen und ihren Vollzug in der Rechtspraxis in Wien verantwortlich zeichnen. Ihre Positionen werden nicht nur geschlechterkritisch hinterfragt, sondern mit weiteren Faktoren wie deren Herkunft hinsichtlich ihrer (Mehrheits-)zugehörigkeit bzw. Whiteness und Klassenzugehörigkeit verknüpft. Mittels intersektioneller Ansätze werden die Akteure auf nomineller und struktureller Ebene untersucht, und auf der symbolischen Ebene anhand der exkludierenden Folgen ihrer Politik vertieft.

Those State actors be explored on the basis of the apparent policy field or stay marriages, responsible for the emergence of the legal regulations and their enforcement in the legal practice in Vienna.
