Metallbecken

Sobald das Metallbecken hinreichend gefüllt ist, wird er mit dem Kran auf einen Transporter geladen und zur Sortierstation gebracht. Nochmals gewaschen und nach unterschiedlichen Größen gesiebt, gelangen die Steine nun auf ein Förderband, an dem die ArbeiterInnen die Saphire händisch heraussortieren. Manch Tagesausbeute ist nur eine Handvoll.

As soon as the metal basin is sufficiently filled, it is loaded with a crane on a transporter and brought to the sorting station. Once again washed and screened to different sizes, the stones now appears on a conveyor belt, where the workers hand out sorting the sapphires. Some day yield is only a handful.
