Allegorie auf Friedrich den Großen als Gründer des Fürstenbundes / Friedrich der Große stiftet den Fürstenbund. Technik: Kupferstich von Meno Haas nach einem Gemälde von Bernhard Rode. Datierung:1793. Maße: 36,9x39,8cm. Meno Haas schuf diese Radierung nach einem Gemälde von Christian Rode aus dem Jahr 1786. Eine Germania mit Helm und Löwenfell reicht Friedrich II. über einem Altar ein Bündel Pfeile. Der König, ebenfalls in Rüstung, aber mit einem Lorbeerkranz bekrönt, umwindet es mit einem Ölzweig, den die Personifikation der Klugheit ihm reicht. Im Hintergrund sind die Göttin Concordia mit zwei Füllhörnern, ein Tempel und ein Obelisk zu erkennen. Im Vordergrund brenne Waffen. Friedrich II. erscheint als Sieger und Friedensbringer und vor allem als Stifter von Einigkeit in Deutschland.

Die letzte Figur, Shirley, ist die Personifikation des Hoffnungsprinzips.

The last figure, Shirley, is the personification of the principle of hope.

Dieses Sonnet weißt noch einige andere stilistischen Beweise auf. Angefangen im Vers drei bis hin zum Vers 13. Es gibt zwei Personifikationen und zwei Metaphern. Ich fange an mit der Personifikation im dritten Vers,"deaf heaven" . Das lyrische ich fühlt sich nicht verstanden von Gott und dadurch fühlt es sich ebenfalls allein und hilflos. In Vers 7 kann man eine Aufzählung sehen,diese zeigt die Qualitäten der gelibeten Person.

Der letzte stilistische Beweis ist in Vers 13. Dort haben wir wieder eine Personifikation, welche genau wie die Metapher in Vers 12 zeigt,dass das lyrische Ich nun aus seiner depressiven Stimmung hinaus findet und ihm seine geliebte Person Mut schenkt.Alles in allem ist dieses Sonnet voller Gefühle und Stimmung und soll seinem Leser vermitteln,dass man auch mit den kleinen Dingen oder den Dingen die man leicht übersieht glücklich sein soll und das man diese vor allem zu schätzen wissen soll.

There we have an embodiment which shows just like the metaphor in verse 12 that the lyrical I now finds his depressive mood, and his beloved person gives him courage.All in all this is sonnet full feelings and mood and aims to provide its readers, that one should be even with the little things, or things that can be easily seen over happy and one to appreciate it especially should know.
