Auf einem Mix aus Straßen und Pisten fahren wir über Berge und Täler in eines der größten Dattelpalmoasen des Landes. Die in der Nähe der Oase Touzeur liegenden Requisiten von Star Wars, die schon seit Jahren dem Verfall trotzen, können wir dort bewundern.

Danach begeben wir uns wieder in die Realität, obwohl das Chott el Jerid, der größte Salzsee der Sahara, auch etwas Außerirdisches hat. Abends kommen wir in die Wüstenoase Douz. Hier beginnen die Sanddünen der Sahara. Über eine Piste werden wir am nächsten Tag nach Ksar Ghilane gelangen. Rund um die Quellen von Ksar Ghilane warten viele kleine Dünen auf übermütige Motorradfahrer. Hier kann jeder Sand fahren bis ihm die Zähne knirschen. Auf kleinen Pisten geht's dann wieder nach Djerba.
