Die Daimler AG hat sich weitestgehend auf die Produktion von Fahrzeugen spezialisiert. Diese beinhalten die Bereiche PKW, LKW und Busse. Diese Bachelor-Thesis befasst sich mit dem Vergleich einer bestehenden excelba-sierten Lösung zur Planung und Steuerung der Abteilung RD/FZE mit einer an SAP an-gebundenen Alternative zur effizienteren Bedienung des Berichtswesens und der Plankostenrechnung. Hierbei werden zuallererst die Grundlagen auf Betriebswirt-schaftlicher Ebene erläutert. Danach werden die Grundlagen anhand des in der Abteilung RD/FZE angewandten Werkzeugs dargestellt und daraus über eine Kosten-Nutzen-Analyse eruiert, ob die Umstellung auf die SAP-Lösung eine Effizienzsteigerung bedeutet. Der Schluss dieser Bachelor-Thesis wird eine Zusammenfassung der Inhalte mit Blick in die Zukunft sein.

Daimler AG has specialized mostly in the production of vehicles. These include the areas of cars, trucks and buses. This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of an existing excelba-based solution for planning and managing the department RD / FZE with at SAP in-bound alternative to the efficient operation of the reporting and budgeting. Here, first of all, the basics of business management-economic level are explained. The basics are shown using the methods employed in the Department of RD / FZE tool and it elicited a cost-benefit analysis of whether the transition to the SAP solution is an increase in efficiency. The conclusion of this bachelor thesis will be a summary of the contents with a view to the future.
