Auf unserer Reise besuchten wir die Kaffeeplantage Claremont, auf der fünfzig Familien seit Generationen leben und arbeiten; ihr Leben kann man nur als ein Leben unter feudalen Verhältnissen bezeichnen.Sie wurden von der Plantage vertrieben, weil die Besitzerin, zufällig die Schwägerin des Präsidenten des Landes, sie nicht mehr auf der Plantage sehen und sie nicht mehr so weiter arbeiten lassen wollte.

During our visit we visited the Claremont coffee estate, where 50 families who have lived and worked on that estate for three generations, living in what can only be described as feudal conditions, were thrown off their farm because the owner, who happens to be the sister-in-law of the country 's president, decided that she did not want them on the estate and wanted to change what they were doing.
