Verfahren nach Anspruch 15 oder 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Zellgewebe bzw. die in die Schaumstoffplatte (1) bzw. den Weichschaumstoff integrierten Kunststoffabfälle bzw. Schaumstoffgranulate im Mittelbereich (9) der Schaumstoffplatte (1) über ihren Einfrierpunkt erhitzt und zumindest an ihren Oberflächen (5,6,21,22) in einen plastischen Zustand übergeführt werden, worauf sie durch Einwirkung einer Druckkraft bzw. durch Verdichtung der Schaumstoffplatte (1) zu einem insbesondere plattenförmigen Profilelement (20) verdichtet werden und daß danach die Druckbelastung auf die Schaumstoffplatte (1) so lange aufrecht erhalten wird, bis die plastifizierten Zellwände (12,16) bzw. Zellstrukturen der Kunststoffabfälle bzw. Schaumstoffgranulate zumindest zum Teil unter den Einfrierpunkt abgekühlt sind.
