Reiskörner

Das Logo des "RISO DI BARAGGIA Biellese e Vercellese", dessen Farbgestaltung in der Produktspezifikation genau beschrieben wird, ist rund und enthält im unteren Teil im Vordergrund die Abbildung von drei hochkant nebeneinander stehenden Reiskörnern, wie sie normalerweise vom Verbraucher wahrgenommen werden. An der Spitze der Reiskörner ist die kleine Aushöhlung zu erkennen, in der vor der Verarbeitung der Keimling saß.

The logo of the PDO "Riso di Baraggia Biellese e Vercellese" is a circle with three grains of straight, white rice depicted side-by-side at the base, as they are usually presented and visible to the consumer. The colours of the logo are set out in detail in the production specification. At the top of the grains is the tiny gap where the embryo of the rice caryopsis is located before refining.

(2) Die den Labors zu Prüfzwecken einzusendenden Proben bestehen aus mindestens 100 g geschältem Reis und mindestens 750 g vollständig geschliffenem Reis. Die Proben dürfen nur ganze Reiskörner, bei geschliffenem Reis jedoch keine mehligen Körner enthalten.

2. Each sample sent to the laboratories for analysis shall consist of at least 100 grams of husked rice, and at least 750 grams of milled rice. Samples shall consist of entire grains only, and entire but chalky grains shall be eliminated from samples of milled rice.
