Der Militärbischof ließ uns auf seinen Pastoralreisen in die Militärlager zu den Offizieren und Soldaten über die Frau aller Völker sprechen. Und als er mit dem Reliquienschrein der kleinen hl. Therese durch das ganze Land reiste und dabei riesige Menschenmengen anzog, begleitete ihn die Frau aller Völker.

On his pastoral visits to the military camps the Military Bishop would let us speak to the people about the Lady of All Nations, and when he brought the relics of St. Therese all over the country drawing great crowds, the Lady of All Nations accompanied them.

Die Ausstellung bietet zahlreiche Exponate: das Buch von Jurgis Matulaitis „Užrašai“ (Notizen), Monographien über sein Leben, Anweisungen und Instruktionen des Erzbischofs Jurgis Matulaitis an Marianer-Kloster (herausgegeben 1928), andere ähnliche Publikationen der Vorkriegszeit, Theologiebücher in lateinischer und polnischer Sprache, alte Gebetsbücher, ein Reliquienschrein aus dem 18. Jh. und viele andere.

Photographs of archbishop Jurgis Matulaitis, his book “Notes”, monographies about Jurgis Matulaitis life, publication “Instructions and Directions for the Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception from Archbishop Jurgis Matulaitis-Matulevi?ius” (1928), and other similar pre-war publications are exhibited here, along with Latin and Polish theological books associated with the archbishop, dated from the 11th to the 20th century, old prayer-books, and reliquary of the 18th century.

Inside, you can admire its magnificent nave, its ribbed vault, the relics of Saint Clement, the Martyr, and the Archpriestal Museum, highlights including the Lignum Crucis (15th-century), the shrine of Madonna Galina (15th-century), the chalice of Antipope Benedict XIII, and the Creu Grossa (1397), an enormous Gothic processional cross made by the goldsmiths of the town and a masterpiece of Valencian Gothic gold and silver work.
