Die Kontrollen der Holzflüsse werden unter der Verantwortung der Abteilungen "Entwicklung der Holzindustrie" (Timber Industry Development Division - TIDD) und "Forstdienst" (Forest Service Division - FSD) durchgeführt, wobei auch eine begrenzte Qualitätskontrolle in den Bereichen Ertragsbestätigung und Nachernteprüfung durch die Zentralstelle für Ressourcenbewirtschaftung (Resource Management Support Centre - RMSC) der Forstkommission erfolgt.

5.11 Unter Berücksichtigung der entwicklungsspezifischen Bedürfnisse der in den Entwicklungsländern lebenden Bevölkerung soll auf allen Ebenen das Bewußtsein für die Notwendigkeit, die nachhaltige schonende Nutzung der Ressourcen durch eine effiziente Ressourcenbewirtschaftung zu optimieren, geschärft werden.

5.11. Awareness should be increased at all levels concerning the need to optimize the sustainable use of resources through efficient resource management, taking into account the development needs of the populations of developing countries.
