Darum sollen die Kinder Israel den Sabbat halten, daß sie ihn auch bei ihren Nachkommen halten zum ewigen Bund.

Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Darum verfolgten die Juden Jesum und suchten ihn zu töten, daß er solches getan hatte am Sabbat.

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

Sollte aber nicht gelöst werden am Sabbat diese, die doch Abrahams Tochter ist, von diesem Bande, welche Satanas gebunden hatte nun wohl achtzehn Jahre?

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

Und da es in den Toren zu Jerusalem dunkel ward vor dem Sabbat, hieß ich die Türen zuschließen und befahl, man sollte sie nicht auftun bis nach dem Sabbat. Und ich bestellte meiner Leute etliche an die Tore, daß man keine Last hereinbrächte am Sabbattage.

And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.

Rede mit den Kindern Israel und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ihr in das Land kommt, das ich euch geben werde, so soll das Land seinen Sabbat dem HERRN feiern,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.

Sage den Kindern Israel und sprich: Haltet meinen Sabbat; denn derselbe ist ein Zeichen zwischen mir und euch auf eure Nachkommen, daß ihr wisset, daß ich der HERR bin, der euch heiligt.

Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
