Nur für die Druckmessung in der Saugleitung von horizontalen Pumpen muss in die vertikale Rohrleitung ein zusätzlicher Verbinder nahe am Dach des Pumpenkastens eingebaut werden.

Die Leermelde-Einrichtung ist zu diesem Zweck direkt mit der Saugleitung kombiniert.
