In der methodischen Vorgangsweise wurden zur Erstellung dieser Arbeit qualitativ historische Quellen aus Archiven, editierten Auflagen historischer Materialenbände, Sekundärliteratur, im Internet zum Herunterladen und zur Einsicht verfügbare Originaldokumente sowie Nachdrucke und Abschriften historischer Dokumente sowie die Sekundärliteratur und weitere im Internet verfügbare Materialien, sowie quantitativ die Statistiken des Landes Niederösterreich für die einzelnen untersuchten Bezirke sowie die Statistiken des Statistischen Amtes der Tschechischen Republik heran gezogen und zum Bild der aktuellen Regionalentwicklung unter Berücksichtigung des unterschiedlichen Datenbestandes ausgewertet.
