Wenn die sekundärseitige Wärmeabfuhr über die Frischdampfleitung d1 zur nachgeschalteten Dampfturbine mittels Schließens des Frischdampfventils abgesperrt und die Pumpe P2 abgestellt wird, setzt der Naturumlauf im sekundärseitigen SIKO-Kreislauf N1 und damit der Nachwärmeabfuhrbetrieb ein, so daß das durch die wärmetauschenden Rohre W1 strömende Primärmedium seine Wärme an das Sekundärmedium 2.1 abgeben kann, wobei das dampfförmige Sekundärmedium im SIKO SK2 wieder gekühlt und kondensiert wird.
