Kraftstoffeinspritzdüse mit: einem Düsengehäuse (12), das eine Ventilkammer (24) enthält; einem Spaltfilter (144); einem Kraftstoffeinlaßstutzen (16), der einen Rinteil (132) in starrer Preßpassung mit dem Düsengehäuse (12) außerhalb der Ventilkammer (24) hat, und mit einem rohrförmigen Teil (134), der sich von dem Ringteil (132) aus quer zu dem Düsengehäuse (12) erstreckt, wobei der Einlaßstutzen (16) einen Fluiddurchlaß (20, 22) hat, der mit der Ventilkammer (24) in Verbindung steht; einer Brennstoffzufuhrleitung (222) in Fluidverbindung mit dem Stutzen (16); und einer Kraftstoffleitungsverbindung (220) zwischen dem rohrförmigen Teil (134) des Einlaßstutzens (16) und der Kraftstoffzufuhrleitung (222), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Ventilschaftführung in der Ventilkammer (24) starr gehaltert ist, wobei die Ventilschaftführung einen Spaltfilterteil, der den Spaltfilter (144) bildet, an seinem vorderen Ende aufweist und einen Lagerteil an seinem hinteren Ende, wobei der Fluiddurchlaß (20, 22) des Einlaßstutzens (16) mit der Ventilkammer (24) benachbart zu dem Spaltfilter (144) in Verbindung steht; und daß die Kraftstoffleitungsverbindung (220) aufweist: (a) einen konischen Nasenteil (224) an dem zu dem Ringteil (132) entgegengesetzten Ende des Einlaßstutzens (16), wobei der Nasenteil (224) ein Loch (226) in seiner Mitte hat, das mit dem Durchlaß (20, 22) in Verbindung steht, (b) einen Kopfteil (232) in der Zufuhrleitung (222), der eine nach außen erweiterte, nach innen konisch zulaufende Wand (234) hat, die dem Konuswinkel an dem Nasenteil (224) angepaßt ist, wobei der Kopf eine Öffnung (236) aufweist, die mit der Öffnung (226) in dem Nasenteil (224) ausgerichtet ist, wenn der Nasenteil (224) und der Kopfteil (232) in inniger Berührung sind, und (c) eine Einrichtung (238), die durch den rohrförmigen Teil (134) oder die Zufuhrleitung (222) gehaltert ist, um die Versorgungsleitung (222) bzw. den rohrförmigen Teil (134) festzuhalten und sie zusammenzuziehen, um eine fluiddichte Verbindung zwischen dem Nasenteil (224) und dem Kopfteil (232) herzustellen.

Fuel injection nozzle comprising: a nozzle body (12) including a valve chamber (24); an edge filter (144); a fuel inlet stud (16) having a ring portion (132) in rigid interference fit with the nozzle body (12) exterior to the valve chamber (24), and a tubular portion (134) extending from the ring portion (132) transversely to the nozzle body (12), the inlet stud (16) having a fluid passageway (20, 22) in communication with the valve chamber (24); a fuel supply line (222) in fluid communication with the stud (16); and a fuel line connection (220) between the tubular portion (134) of the inlet stud (16) and the fuel supply line (222), characterized in that a valve guide is rigidly supported in the valve chamber (24), said valve guide including an edge filter portion, defining said edge filter (144), at a forward end thereof and a bearing portion at a rear end thereof, said inlet stud (16) having said fluid passageway (20, 22) in communication with said valve chamber (24) adjacent said edge filter (144); and said fuel line connection (220) including: (a) a conical nose portion (224) at the end of the inlet stud (16) opposite the ring portion (132), said nose portion (224) having an aperture (226) in the center thereof in communication with the passageway (20, 22), (b) a head portion (232) in the supply line (222) having a flared, inwardly tapered wall (234) that matches the taper angle on said nose portion (224), the head including an opening (236) aligned with the opening (226) in the nose portion (224) when the nose portion (224) and the head portion (232) are intimately engaged, and (c) means (238) carried by one of the tubular portion (134) or the supply line (222) for capturing the other of said tubular portion (134) and supply line (222) and drawing them together to establish a fluid tight connection between the nose portion (224) and head portion (232).
