Die Erfindung betrifft eine Tür, beispielsweise eine Balkon- oder Terrassentüre, deren Schwelle behindertengerecht und teilversenkbar ist, wobei die Türschwelle selbsttätig von Ruhestellung in die Wirkstellung fällt und mittels eines Steuermechanismus von der Wirkstellung zurück in ihre Ruhestellung bewegbar ist, um so in ihrer Wirkstellung den behindertengerechten freien Durchgang vom Innenraum nach Außen und umgekehrt zu ermöglichen.
