Torheit

Der Steg zwischen Torheit und Geschmacklosigkeit ist sehr dünn.

The bridge between folly and tastelessness is very thin.

Das ist des Klugen Weisheit, daß er auf seinen Weg merkt; aber der Narren Torheit ist eitel Trug.

The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.

Aber der Mann, der Hauswirt, ging zu ihnen heraus und sprach zu ihnen: Nicht, meine Brüder, tut nicht so übel; nachdem dieser Mann in mein Haus gekommen ist, tut nicht eine solche Torheit!
