Der innere Dichtring 7 sitzt blank am Zylinderkopf 1a, so daß die Zylinderkopfkühlung auch für den Flanschring 7 wirksam ist, und eine Umfangsdichtung 13 aus einem Elastomer mit vorzugsweise rundem Querschnitt sorgt für die Abdichtung zwischen Zylinderkopf 1a und Flanschring 7. Der Schutzschild 10 weist einen nach außen ragenden Randschenkel 10a auf, der eine stirnseitige Anschlußfläche 14 für die Kapsel 5 bildet, wobei die Kapsel 5 mit einem Anschlußflansch 15 unter Zwischenlage einer Dämmaterialschicht 16 an diese Anschluß­ fläche 14 schalldämmend anschließt.
