LUX* Resorts & Hotels setzt alle Gäste, Hotelmitarbeiter, Lieferanten und Auftragnehmer über dessen Umweltrichtlinie in Kenntnis, fordert sie zur Einhaltung der Umweltrichtlinie des Hotels auf und sorgt für die kontinuierliche Schulung und Ausbildung der Teammitglieder im Hinblick auf gute Umweltschutzpraktiken und Umweltschutzprobleme.

LUX* Resorts & Hotels will also control its impact on the surrounding ecosystem, including the beach. It will minimise waste and encourage segregation of solid waste. LUX* Resorts & Hotels will communicate its environmental policy to all its guests, hotel staff, suppliers and contractors and involve them in respecting the hotels' environmental policy and will continually train and develop its team members on good environmental practices and environmental issues.

Angenommener Entwurf einer Umweltrichtlinie:" Richtlinie des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates über die Pflicht, im Winter in den Straßen, auf den Plätzen und in den Gärten der europäischen Städte eine Temperatur von mindestens achtzehn Grad Celsius beizubehalten".

Supposed draft environmental directive:" European Parliament and Council Directive establishing the obligation to maintain, during winter, a temperature of no less than eighteen degrees centigrade in the streets, squares and parks of the cities of Europe".
