Unflat

Du hast uns zu Kot und Unflat gemacht unter den Völkern.

Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.

Dann wird der HERR den Unflat der Töchter Zions waschen und die Blutschulden Jerusalems vertreiben von ihr durch den Geist, der richten und ein Feuer anzünden wird.

When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

und will dich zerstreuen unter die Heiden und dich verstoßen in die Länder und will deinem Unflat ein Ende machen,

And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.

20 Und die Zierde seines Schmuckes, zum Hochmut hat man sie gebraucht, und ihre Greuelbilder, ihre Scheusale, haben sie daraus verfertigt; darum habe ich es ihnen zum Unflat gemacht.

For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity. 20 His beautiful ornament they used for pride, and they made their abominable images and their detestable things of it. Therefore I make it an unclean thing to them.

Sie haben aus ihren edlen Kleinoden, damit sie Hoffart trieben, Bilder ihrer Greuel und Scheuel gemacht; darum will ich's ihnen zum Unflat machen

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.

Und ihr werdet entweihem eure übersilberten Götzen und die goldenen Kleider eurer Bilder und werdet sie wegwerfen wie einen Unflat und zu ihnen sagen: Hinaus!

Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.
