Soeben habe ich als Verfasserin der Stellungnahme des Ausschusses für Beschäftigung und Soziales gesprochen, jetzt ergreife ich als Schattenberichterstatterin für die Presse das Wort.

I spoke a moment ago as the draftsman of the opinion of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, and now I am speaking as shadow rapporteur for the press.

Ich bin jetzt hier jedoch zuallererst einmal als Verfasserin der Stellungnahme des Haushaltsausschusses gefordert.

I am here, then, primarily playing my role as draftsperson of the opinion of the Committee on Budgets.

Verfasserin. - Herr Präsident! Es ist nicht, weil Sommer ist und wir alle sauer sind.

author. - Mr President, it is not because it is summertime and we are all cross.

Verfasserin. - Herr Präsident, einige in diesem Haus möchten die Volksmujaheddin als Helden oder als wahre Alternative zum Regime im Iran darstellen.

author. - Mr President, some in this Chamber want to present the People's Mujahedin as heroes or a true alternative to the Iranian regime.

Abschließend möchte ich noch der Verfasserin zu diesem Bericht gratulieren.

Zum Dritten möchte ich als Verfasserin der Stellungnahme des Regionalausschusses noch einmal das Thema der schrumpfenden Regionen aufgreifen.
