Es ist eine handwerkliche Kunst, welche heute Gefahr läuft, wegen der veränderten ökonomischen und demographischen Rahmenbedingungen im Berggebiet für immer verloren zu gehen und die zu bewahren, wiederzuerlangen und weiterzugeben sich Freiwilligenverbände, Verkehrsvereine und Institutionen zum Ziel gesetzt haben.

Alle Erwachsenen sowie Minderjährige mit der Zustimmung ihres gesetzlichen Vertreters können am Wettbewerb teilnehmen, mit Ausnahme der MitarbeiterInnen der Verkehrsvereine (VV) von Moudon, Avenches, Estavayer-le-Lac/Payerne, Murten, sowie der Kantone Freiburg und Waadt. Der Wettbewerb läuft vom Samstag, 30. August 2014 ab 8 Uhr, bis Sonntag, 7. September 2014, 19 Uhr, Schlussdatum.

The contest is open to anyone over 18 years of age and anyone below that age with the consent of the respective legal representative, with the exception of the staff of the tourist boards (TBs) of Moudon, Avenches, Estavayer-le-Lac/Payerne, Morat, of the Cantons of Fribourg and Vaud. Participation in the contest is open from Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 08:00, to Sunday, September 7, 2014, 19:00, closing time.
