Die Lösung der gestellten Aufgabe erfolgt bei einer hydropneumatischen, niveaugeregelten Federung, insbesondere bei einer Vollfederung an Fahrzeugen mit großen Achslastspreizungen mit je zwei doppelt wirkenden hydraulischen Federzylindern an Vorder- und Hinterachse, deren Zylinderräume im Speicherverbund einen ersten Federkreis und deren kolbenseitige Ringräume in einem weiteren Speicherverbund einen zweiten Federkreis bilden, erfindungsgemäß dadurch, dass die Achsfederung für die Vorder- und Hinterachse als umschaltbare Doppelfunktionsachsfederung gebildet ist, so dass jede Achse sowohl als Pendelachse (im Querverbund) als auch als Stabilisierungsachse (im Kreuzverbund) einschaltbar ist.
